Reading the boards folder…

Boards are plain JSON files in boards/, and this editor writes those files — so anything you change here you can also read, diff or hand-edit later. The previous version of a file is kept in boards/.backups/ every time you save. A game already in progress keeps the board it started with; edits apply to the next room you create.
